Amanda and all--mom and dad told me that you took a group from the high school to DC and I wanted to say that I am so excited for you and them. I have graduate students (who want to work in DC and go on a regular basis) who would have died to be there today. What a wonderful memory you have given these students--to literally experience history, regardless of politics! I do hope these students take in every part of the trip and enjoy all of the sites and sounds of Washington, DC. It is a beautiful city and this is a special time. All the best to you and everyone who went. What an amazing experience! --Matt Upton, Ph.D., Hardin High School Class of 1991

Hey Traveling Hornets,
Thanks so much for sharing the pictures and keeping us all posted back at home. I enjoyed every trip I took to DC and NY with students. Each trip was a different learning experience. It is so exciting and I am so proud for all of you for being a part of history. Absorb and enjoy everything you see and experience. Stay warm and safe! Mrs. Mullins
